    View of the Portsmouth Light Artillery Monument nearing completion on Washington Street that was published by the Virginia Stationary Company and printed in Germany. The monument is commonly known as the Grime's Battery Monument and has been moved from the original location to Portsmouth City Park. The card measures 3.5" x 5.5" and is postmarked July 18th, 1907 with the Jamestown Celebration cancellation in Portsmouth, there are no tears, bends or creases, see scans for details/condition.
